Click on the Events Link above for a full description of each event.
CHAMPIONS DIVISION
Join the elite ranks of pickleball players across the country as the United Pickleball Association proudly unveils the UPA World Championships “Champions Division.” Test your game at the highest level by earning your spot in the inaugural year of this competitive division.
Participation in the “Champions Division” is reserved for those who have medaled in a United Pickleball State Championship Tournament. This “win your way in” policy ensures that every competitor embodies the highest standards of excellence, creating an unparalleled level of competition.
Players will only be allowed to compete in ONE event per day. If the Champions Division and Open division events are on different days you are eligible to register for both events.
Your discounted registration will be automatically applied to your Pickleball Brackets account. Once your State Championship Tournament is complete and you receive an emailed invitation you can go into the World Championships registration and register for the division that you have played your way into, and your discounted registration fee will be automatically applied.
State Qualifiers may choose partners who have NOT qualified on their own. The partner will then be able to register for the event.
AMATEUR EVENT RATINGS
Bracket eligibility for amateur events, including the Champions Division events for state qualifiers, is determined at the time that the player signs up for this tournament. Players may not sign up for a skill level lower than their current rating.
The tournament uses a player’s current DUPR rating to determine bracket eligibility.
For players with no current DUPR rating, the current PickleballBrackets.com rating is used.
The player’s self rating is only used for those who do not have either of the above tournament ratings.
